AEGIS Color Recipes

Pro Staff Custom Color Recipes

Being a startup company, AEGIS is focused on making quality thin-film coatings.

Instead of a massive catalog of color selections, our lab is focused on continual improvements of our base line of coating colors. This allows AEGIS to focus on best performance of our paints, as well as prioritizing the highest standard of customer service in the industry.

AEGIS Pro Staff have found that our coatings harmonize well with one another, and can be mixed to extend the palate of colors that can be made.

The Dark Green Color (Left) can be combined with a bright yellow to produce ADX Green - recipe below.

The Pro Staff Recipe page highlights color formulas that are thought up by our ProStaff members. Calculations test proven in our lab and shared among our growing customer base.

Current Custom Color Recipe List

The list of custom color recipes will be added to as we test and verify recipes for accuracy.

Standard Recipe: Calculated by weight in grams, each recipe will produce the color based on the combination of paints at their indicated weight. For larger or smaller quantities, retain the ratio by multiplying or dividing both numbers.

Mix colors together with a paint stirring stick in a safe container while wearing gloves.

The first custom color is available already mixed, bottled and ready to go. Based off of our relationship with Addicted Fishing and mutual love for angling, this green is a medium-light and is the only recipe that is currently available already formulated in a bottle.
